My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Gunner, he is roughly 1 1/2 yrs old. We got him from a rescue last summer. He came from a hoarding house and was hesitant around people and dogs at first. Overall he is very loving, cuddly, and fun. He has done well with our other dog and a few others we’ve introduced him to. He did once have an issue with a German Shepard that he just did not want around him. He also is very hesitant around men (we believe this is due to past trauma). To get past this we have introduced him to friends while he is caged and use treats for him to learn they are trust worthy and friendly. Does not need to be in a home with cats. He is very protective of his people and his home. He is a very smart boy that sometimes finds his way into the dog food container but he’s just a hungry growing boy. This is not an easy decision for us but with his inability to be around cats and our hectically growing work schedule we feel he deserves a home and owner to give him all the love and attention he deserves.
