Pirate is 6 months old handsome boy who was rescued from the streets of Staten Island. We were contacted about older kitten living under the bushes within last few weeks. The finder was doing her best to keep Pirate safe by feeding him and trying to find a rescue for him. Pirate came to us 1.5 months ago in a very poor shape. We were able to nurse him back to health, but unfortunately couldn't save his eye. But it only makes him look even more handsome! Sweet Pirate is learning how to trust people. He loves to play with his toys and his foster mama. He enjoys the company of the resident cat and we are looking for the home for him with another friendly playful cat. He loves to be petted, but does not like to be picked up. The quite patient home for him will be the perfect match.
