My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiwi is a 4 year old Blue Heeler/Blue Lacy mix female. She is a medium size dog and weighs about 30 lbs. Kiwi is a very high energy dog who needs a job. She would make an excellent farm/ranch dog or a jogging partner. Kiwi is both dog and people friendly. She would do best in a farm and ranch type environment where she can run or with an active family that would give her lots of exercise and a large yard.. Kiwi is fully vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped. To receive an adoption application, please contact us via email at waller_rescue@yahoo.com or call/text 832-541-4255.

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting a dog or puppy, please click on the email link to request an adoption application. Or you can email directly waller_rescue@yahoo.com

Once your application has been submitted, one of our volunteers will contact you within a few days to further discuss the information on the application.

Certain circumstances may require a home visit to determine whether the dog or puppy you are interested in is the best fit for your home.

Once your application has been approved and you have chosen the dog or puppy you wish to adopt, there will be an adoption contract to sign. A copy will be provided to you at the time of adoption as well as the dog’s medical records.

An adoption donation will help us cover medical costs, such as vaccinations, heartworm preventative, spay/neuters, etc. This will help us to continue to help other stray and abandoned dogs in need. Your donations and assistance are greatly needed and very much appreciated!

Every effort is made to handle your adoption as quickly and efficiently as possible. We do ask for your patience. Should you not hear from us in three to five days after the application was submitted, we encourage you to contact us by e-mail, waller_rescue@yahoo.com.

Go meet their pets

Please contact us at waller_rescue@yahoo.com or call/text 832-541-4255 to arrange an appointment to meet the dogs and puppies.

More about this rescue

Waller Rescue Ranch (WRR) is a 501c3 non-profit, volunteer based rescue organization that is dedicated to saving the lives of many stray and abandoned dogs and puppies in Leon County TX. We originally started in Waller County, but are now located in the Centerville/Buffalo TX area.

Our purpose is to place homeless and abandoned animals into loving and permanent homes. All representatives of WRR are volunteers. They receive no compensation for their hard work and solely do it for the love and compassion of animals.

All dogs and puppies that are currently available for adoption have been temperament tested and health checked. Dogs that 6 months and older, are spayed/neutered, on heartworm preventative, and also vaccinated. Puppies that are younger than 6 months of age will be vaccinated, but will require a spay/neuter contract if they are not currently spayed or neutered.

An adoption donation helps us cover medical costs, such as vaccinations, heartworm preventative, spay/neuters, etc. It also allows us to continue to help other stray and abandoned dogs and puppies in need. Your donations and assistance are greatly needed and very much appreciated!
