Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Angel was discovered injured in a storage barn in late May, 2020. After an immediate visit to the vet, it was discovered that Angel was pregnant and due very soon. Along with her pregnancy, Angel mama was simultaneously dealing with conjunctivitis, a severe ear infection, and most concerning, a mass on her ear which was found to be cancerous. Her conjunctivitis and ear infection are completely cleared up, but her vet and an oncologist recommended removal of her ear to help stop the potential spread of the cancer.
On June 3rd, Angel gave birth to four kittens. Three boys and a girl! She was an excellent mama and all 4 were adopted last fall.
She had surgery in early July and most of her ear was removed. Slowly she recovered and her fur grew in. But in November, another small mass was found in the same ear so another surgery was performed December 1st.
The vet is confident that she got everything this time. Angel is done with surgeries and would love a quiet indoor home. She really loves her fellow rescued cat, Floyd, and he loves her, but they don’t HAVE to go together.
