Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Louisiana is being fostered in Chicago.
Louisiana is in search of an experienced adopter. Please read what her foster mom has to say about her below:
Louisiana is a very special girl. We have learned a lot about her these several months she has been with us. She is a nervous girl, with fearful tendencies, likely due to a combination of past trauma and her limited sight. She has improved significantly, with the stability in our home, but will always be a work in progress.
Weezie has a lot of love to give, but she tends to give it primarily to one person. If you are lucky enough to become her person, you will be her entire world, and she will be your always loyal, little buddy. She does prefer men.
Weezie likes to have a routine and can get upset if there is too much chaos. She often reacts strongly when surprised, and needs stability and consistency. She will do best in a quiet home and would prefer to be an only dog. She does have some separation anxiety, and cannot be left alone for extended periods.
Weezie does require daily medications, which she takes very well. She is on Prozac as well as several topical eye medications that she receives every couple hours.
Weezie is a unique girl, and can be a wonderful lifetime companion for an experienced and committed guardian
