Hi everyone! My name is Lianna. I am a Cane Corso pup approximately 9-12 months old. Would you like to know my story? It doesn’t start out great like most rescues, but thankfully I know the best life is on its way. You see I am officially a part of WTWTA Rescue and they take loving rescue kids like me and my sisters pretty seriously.

So, my journey began when my sisters and I were found along a country road dumped off by our previous owners. I know what your thinking, how could somebody abandon beautiful kids like us…sadly this happens more often then it should. My sisters and I decided to stick together while we were off fending for ourselves near the woods. cause that’s what sisters do  We were better as a pack than separated from one another. Thankfully a Good Samaritan who knows mastiffs saw us and picked us up. They were diligent about where we would be placed and who they would allow to rescue us so we could be kept safe and we are grateful for that.

You see being an italian mastiff breed, we are a pretty “BIG” deal!….see what I did there :P So they contacted WTWTA who knows kids like us well and are specialized in placing our breeds in the right home. Since being a part of WTWTA we are learning what it feels like to be loved again. They took us to get vaccinated. At first i was a little nervous going to the vet’s, but I quickly overcame that and did well in their care. I received all the necessary vaccinations and tests. Sadly, I suffer from a slight heart murmur and something called cherry eye which is to be fixed with surgery covered by the rescue.

I really enjoyed the car ride and the lady who transported me had a big Subaru decked out especially for dogs. There was this huge bed for me in the back to sleep on. I had the whole back bed to myself. It was peaceful and soooooo comfortable I melted like ice cream on a summer day, and while on the way we listened to so many different songs while I slept snuggled in a soft blanket.

After the vet visit, we had a spa day….CAN YOU BELIEVE A SPA DAY!!!

Right now I am not sure about small animals so no cats or smalls breeds in the home. I would prefer a nice fenced in yard to play in since I am a giant breed and room to run would be perfect! If your wanting a pup with unconditional love then you came to the right place :)

I came in with quite a bit of medical needs but that has all since been addressed, I had cherry eye surgery, entropion surgery, and was spayed. I have a slight heart murmur and was examined at a cardiovascular clinic and they expect me to have a long and healthy life.

I am a sweet big girl and just love to play and snuggle. If you would like a strong, happy and loving companion, than I am your gal :)
