Hi everyone! My name is Sasha. I am an approximately 8 months old Cane Corso. Would you like to know my story? It doesn’t start out great, but I already know I’m going to have the best life. You see I am officially a part of WTWTA Rescue. They take loving us kids pretty seriously.

So, my journey began when my sisters and I were found along a road. Can you believe we were dumped!! We were fending for ourselves for a while. No matter the circumstances though, my sisters and I decided to stick together. We were better as a pack than separated from one another. While we were traveling along the road, a Good Samaritan picked us up. They were diligent about where we would be placed and who they would allow rescue us. We are grateful for that. You see we are a pretty BIG deal….see what I did there :P? Well, after their research they contacted WTWTA. Since being a part of WTWTA we are learning what it feels like to be loved. They took us to get vaccinated. I was nervous at the vet’s, but I am strong and know I can overcome anything, and I did. I received shots and had test run to make sure I was healthy. I passed with flying colors.

Now, I don’t know what everything means. But my driver….yes that’s right! I had a drive because an italian beauty like me should be chauffeured! Let me tell you my driver on my first car trip kept talking and talking. I understood most of the conversation but there was one word i didn’t know…I did not know about this cow-ouch thing... I mean he was telling me how much fun I was going to have when I learned what a cow-ouch and a warm bed was, I dunno I guess ill have to take his word for it… It was a little stressful but he kept telling me how safe I was and how I was a sweet and good pup…. I wasn’t about to argue that comment. What pup would? I know eventually my sisters and I will be separated into loving homes. I was always the protector of my sisters but my rescuer said I didn’t need to be the guardian anymore. Now WTWTA would keep us safe and guard us. I whimpered because I hadn’t known what that felt like in my whole life...

Now, since being here they have seen some of my personality and traits. I must admit I need a little work, but with proper training and Love I know I can learn quick and overcome these. I first need to learn to be walked on a leash…..I typically try to walk/drag the hoomans. I cower if you move too quickly or yell, so you will need to be gentle yet confident and firm for me to trust you and feel safe to learn. I do fine with bath time and will sit for my supper if you ask me. At the moment, I have not had a full temperament test done but for now it will be best if I am the only pet in the house until I am further safely socialized. Because of my size and strength I must have a fenced in yard so I can stretch out and run. I’m not done growing so once I am done….I will need room and exercise. I am a guardian breed by nature and although WTWTA say I don’t need to be that anymore…it will come out so I prefer to be with an experienced dog parent that will give me the security I need to know when I need to step in and when I don’t. I am still working on my potty training and that will take some time as I have been kept outside or in a kennel facility so please be patient with me.

I have been fully vetted and vaccinated and microchipped and passed with flying colors! Now its my time to be with a beautiful family and get the love I've long deserved…

O and my sisters and I agree, now that we are moving up in life we would like weekly blueberry facials rubs and coconut oil spa days :)

If you are interested in Sasha, please list her name on the adoption application.
