Sara was abandoned at a dog shelter by her previous owner. At first, she wanted to go home so badly so she would use her nose to hit the door of her kennel. She seemed very anxious and scared, we saw that her nose was injured and raw from trying to get out of the kennel, so we decided to take her out of the shelter. If we did not intervene, this baby would have seriously injured herself. Luckily, Sara passed all of her health tests, meaning she's very healthy, but she is a little underweight at present. We hope to find her a family who will love and cherish her forever.
Sara has been living in a foster home for around 3 months. Her playful and gentle personality has come out. She loves to play with other dogs when they are outside. When it is her meal time, she is quiet and does not fight for food nor resource guard. She will only eat from her own bowl. Sara also loves going for car rides, she does not get car sick .
She likes all sorts of rope toys and balls. She can have lots of fun just playing by herself !
Currently, Sarah goes potty outside. Sometimes, she is willing to go on pee pads inside. Recently, we have taken Sara to pet restaurants and other crowded places to socialize her. She is doing quite well in these situations! She is a little cautious around strangers, but as long as the person shows they are calm and gentle and offers a treat, she will be friends with them quickly .
For Sara, we want to find a family that enjoys outdoor activities, because she has a higher energy level. She needs enough exercise everyday. We also hope her new family can make fresh food for Sara. She loves boiled meats. In Taiwan, all of our rescues get a little fresh food in their diet. They also regularly get vitamin supplements and joint supplements (Q10). This is because they often did not receive enough nutrition before they were rescued. Therefore, we hope our future families will be willing to spend time and money on their pets, to give them the healthiest and happiest lives.

*Sara got shaved a month ago, so her hair will grow longer. Adopting families need to recognize that she is a long-haired dog. In the future, she needs to be groomed regularly and hair-brushed daily.
