Hi I'm Luke, here’s a little back story about me…
On December 30th 2020, WTWTA Rescue received a call from a local motel manager. They were informed that there were 2 pit puppies, my sister and I, abandoned outside of our room, left in our kennels, overnight on the coldest night of the year. Thankfully the motel employees put us back inside the room where we had been kept and began to adamantly contact WTWTA Rescue and called and called till they reached someone. When WTWTA came to check on our situation they realized we had not been fed or watered properly in days. The motel room was covered in our own feces because no one was taking us out to potty. We had to drink our own urine to try and get hydrated. Our mother had completely abandoned us and left us hungry and freezing to death.
Thankfully, WTWTA Rescue immediately took us into their foster care program where we would be kept safe and warm until our quarantine period was up. While there we met a friend who went in quarantine with us. Her name is Marty you can read her story and bio on this website too. Let me tell you, those first couple nights we kept our foster mom hustlin with how much we ate and pottied. We are just so grateful to be alive!
I’m about 8-9 months old. My favorite past time is to play tug of war and go for walks. I like to think I am an undefeated champion of tug of war….if you doubt me feel free grab and rope and give it a go its my favorite. I’m always up for a good challenge. I am quite an active boy. What do you say we head out on some adventurous and see the world together. I also, enjoy being in the most advantageous spot of the room. It gives me a sense of confidence and security to find the highest perch and watch over my foster fam. This way I have eyes on everything and everyone. Nothing is getting passed these keen eyes I’m a true companion guardian.
My foster parents work with me to do tricks and have taught me basic commands. As you have read I am quite the sweet, confident, and smart young man and will be your best companion if you choose me!
