You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ziggy originally came to RCBR back in August. He was quickly adopted into a household with a blind boxer dog and a cat. The family was hoping to find a new seeing eye companion for their blind boy, but things did not work out between Ziggy and the resident dog. There were no real problems, it just wasn't the bonding experience needed for the best case scenario.
Ziggy is a gentle giant in size and in heart and happiness. He loves to go for walks and he is very good on a leash. He has not been crated in his past home because he prefers to lounge around next to his people or curl up and take a nap when no one is home. However, all food items must be put away or closed up ... Ziggy will find food no matter where and try to get it if he can.
Ziggy enjoys the outdoors and exploring the yard. He has been around cats. He also has been around a child and the only concern was Ziggy accidentally knocking a young child down by accident.
Since Ziggy is a large-boned and heavier set boxer, it will be important to monitor his weight and keep his joints in good working order through daily walks and joint supplementsas he ages.
