Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a big, lovable boy. My family fostered me about four years ago. Groundhog Day 2021 will be my fifth birthday! Recent human health issues make it difficult for Dad to walk me (gout arthritis). I love my two human sisters (teenagers) and my dog sister (4-5 year old Aussie Shep/Choc Lab rescue). I like to run and wrestle with my dog sister, mostly submissive but I can get defensive sometimes too. I live for attention from my humans, always like to be in the same room/space. While we have our own beds (not allowed on furniture), we cuddle and sleep together in the family room, share toys, and eat together without food aggression.
I can be a bit anxious and nervous around strange dogs. We have a fenced yard but sometimes I just need to run, run and run. I so want to be a farm dog! I’m a loyal protector, barking at strangers. I need lots of exercise.
I am an excellent leash walker, using an Easy Walk harness and Gentle Leader in tandem. Chipped and fully vaccinated. Healthy.
