Rambo is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home.
Rambo was saved from a fast kill, small-town dog pound. We think he is an Affinpincher, probably around 1 year of age and weighing 10 pounds. We named him Rambo because he thinks he is a Rottweiler and is fearless about standing up to any dog that crosses him. He does like to play with other dogs as long as they play nice. Rambo is crate trained and well-behaved in the house, but he does need potty training. Other obedience training and additional socialization are needed. Rambo is scared of new people until he gets to know them. He will try to bite if a stranger tries to quickly grab him. Therefore, he cannot go to a home with small children. Rambo is sweet, affectionate, and playful after he gets to know you. Rambo is very small and delicate He will need steps to get up down from furniture so he does not hurt himself. He must be protected from rough treatment and big dogs that can hurt him. He must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider him dinner. Rambo must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash would like a securely fenced yard to run and play.
Rambo is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and receiving monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Rambo has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport to Warren NJ, Allentown PA, or Nanuet NY. He is being fostered in Texas and will not be sent north until after he is adopted.
