Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Jack and I’m about 9 years old. The people at the rescue says I am a Jack Russell Terrier mix – maybe with a little beagle in there.
My human passed away, and I am looking for a single lady to take me in. I really want to be loved – but only by one person because I get a little jealous!
I heard the humans say that I was found as a stray when I was about 1 year old and then the people who found me kept me. I liked the woman very much, but I wasn’t so keen on her husband and felt like I had to protect her.
I like most of the volunteers here at the rescue, but I do also like to be in charge, and I let them know that sometimes. I loooooove snacks and if you want to teach me some tricks, I’ll work hard for them.
Someone here said that I will require some structure, patience, and lots of activity and to not let my age fool you. It’s true because I really do love to run in the yard and go for walks.
I prefer a single lady home without other dogs, small critters, or children.
Jack is healthy but does have a slight heart murmur. We don't believe this to negatively affect his life.
If you are local to the area, a single lady, active, and live in a quiet home, Jack could be your new companion! Please visit our website, www.crcpa.org, to learn more about or adoption process and complete an application.
