My story

Bean is still looking for his forever home! Who doesn’t want a cute hound puppy?

Bean and his sister Pea were brought to us after being found on the side of the road from being dumped.

Bean is 5 months old and is a coonhound mix. He is white with tan marking and even has a touch of speckles on his left ear. He was very skinny when he came to us and only weighed 22 lbs, but he should be expected to get to about 50-60 pounds.

Bean’s fosters say he is just such a sweet little boy. He loves cuddles and belly rubs. He was very easy to potty train. He also learned “sit” quickly; he’s super smart. He loves chewing on his little squeaky monkey toy.
We’re working on loose leash walking and settling in our crate since he still gets upset sometimes when crated.

Bean is friendly with other dogs, but has not been tested with cats or kids yet. He is adoption fee is $175 which will include his shots, microchip, deworming, neuter, and basic training.

After you apply please allow our adoption coordinator 24-72 hours to respond. When you are contacted, you will be told if your application is approved or not. If it is we will proceed with a meet and greet. After everyone has had a chance to do a meet and greet we will then proceed with the adoption to the selected family. If you comment “interested” that does not count as an application. The form must be filled out for you to be considered. We are located in Auburn, AL.
