My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx DOB: September 2020

Willie (ID#20078) is an adorably sweet 9-month-old kitty. He is a medium hair, black and white, with a super long tail! Willie was born with only one eye, but that does not hold him back at all! He’s a spunky little guy, who prefers cuddles to play, and warm fuzzy beds and blankets. Willie likes marathon games of hide-n-go-seek where he’ll inevitably forget he’s playing and take another nap! Aside from playing and napping, Willie is also learning some basic cues because if his brother Sammy is doing it, Willie wants to learn too! Willie also gets along with the dogs and small critters in his foster home too! If Willie can’t find you in the house, he will move from room to room chirping until he finds someone to cuddle him. He’s such a sweetheart and just needs to be reassured he’s not alone. Willie loves to cuddle up with you, but has also been known to cuddle with his brother or the dogs in his foster home, so he would be fine as a single pet, or with another furry pet! Willie is also on a prescription diet - he does better on dry formula than he does on the wet food, but this is something that may change over time. Willie was also born missing one eye, so it’s also important to keep a close watch and clean that area as needed. Daily eyes drops (non-prescription) are also recommended to ensure the area does not dry out.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Please also read our Core Values prior to applying, www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations.

If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.

Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.
