Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hank showed up at a rural home in horrific condition. He was malnourished, had an abscess on his neck, could hardly walk as his feet were bleeding from traveling. He began treatment with the vet and has flourished. Blue Lacy's are extremely intelligent, intense, loyal, and active dogs. They are very trainable. Hank has been diagnosed with heartworm infection. Dogs acquire heartworms from a mosquito bite from a mosquito with heartworm larvae. They are not contagious. They do go on to live happy and normal lives. Please do not overlook this beautiful boy as he deserves a chance at life. Adopters will receive medications to complete his slow kill treatment protocol. Hank aka Lumpy is a one of a kind. He will needs a home with a fence. This beautiful boy deserves a family to love him.
