My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yeti is looking so noble and handsome these days. His confidence and bravery is building more and more!

Yeti is an 1 1/2 year old male mixed breed dog; we cannot guarantee the breed of any of our dogs. He currently weighs in at around 60 lbs.

Yeti was rescued from CACC due to overcrowding and risk of euthanasia!

Yeti is a very sweet boy, but due to his past can sometimes lack confidence. We have been working with @revk9training to help him learn social skills and associate new people with positive things like food. Yeti has been getting hand fed for EVERY meal so that he gets plenty of time learning to trust people. Feeding a dog like this let’s then know that you are there to give them what they need, you are not a threat that will take their things or hurt them. He was especially scared of men, so his fosters have been having extra male friends visit unexpectedly so he can learn that they are friends too. Remember, he has not felt well while recovering from heart worms so to see him be this trusting when he feels vulnerable is very impressive in such a short time.

Yeti is friendly with other dogs. He has met kids, but their loud quick movements for now are a little scary. His adoption fee is $125 which includes vaccines, microchipping, neutering, and worming.
