My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Savannah is an 1 year old German Shepherd. She is a slender girl weighing about 50 pounds currently. Savannah is as sweet as they come. She is great with dogs and older kids, sorry no cats. Savannah is all puppy, but she knows basic obedience. She loves to play in every mud puddle and use you as a chew toy. She’s extremely intelligent, sometimes too smart for her own good. She does have separation anxiety in new situations. I am sure with time, once she settles in and she gains confidence this will subside. When you’re home, she is usually wherever you are, just hanging out or playing with toys. She doesn’t like to be alone. She will need a family that understands anxiety and is committed to long walks or playtime to reduce this anxiety when she is first settling in. She loves to play ball, fetch and her favorite thing ever is the pool. She loves water!! She will splish splash for hours! She would be a perfect river girl. She is very much a puppy and will need someone that understands this and is willing to take the time and work with her. Savannah does need a secure yard, because she is an extremely smart dog and always wonders what is on the other side of the fence. She doesn’t jump, but she can climb. Savannah need a solid wall, no chain link. She knows how to climb chain link Savannah is looking for a GSD experienced home. She would love a playful sibling, but not required if the family is very active with their dog. She is an amazing dog, and with a family that spends the time with her, she will make an amazing addition.
