Chicago, IL – Adopt Bertha the Young Female Abyssinian Guinea Pig

Bertha is a sweet tri-color, two-month-old female guinea Abyssinian guinea pig looking for a loving guardian.

Bertha gets along with most other well-socialized guinea pigs. She’s learning to enjoy a variety of greens, and loves her hay. She is wiggly, but will sit on your lap, and she lets you hold her.

Guinea pigs eat a diet of unlimited Timothy and orchard hays, limited pellets, and a variety of fresh vegetables every day including romaine, red leaf and green leaf lettuces, cilantro, carrots, oranges and bell peppers. Bertha’s adoption fee of $60 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. If you need a cage, water bottle, hidey hut, pellets, and hay, the whole package is available for an additional $75.
