Hello there, Ernie here.

Don't make fun of my ears. I am tolerating my foster mom flopping them around saying they are the “cutest baby ears ever.” Insert eye roll here.

I actually think of myself as a tall hunky boy in search of a forever home.

I came to the rescue as a pup with my siblings and found myself back in the loving arms of the caregivers at BCRR, in the North Eastern part of the Dallas area.

If you question the border collie in my lineage, my sister had her DNA tested and came back dutch shepherd, border collie, lab and others.

I am a curious neutered boy of 2 years, approximately 60lbs, house trained, and crate trained. I was not tested with children but am well behaved with cats and other dogs. I love a good run and seek a spacious backyard to romp and play. I know a few tricks and am very food motivated. I learn quickly and hope to find an assertive dog savvy human to call my companion!
