EMMYLOU is a gorgeous, eight year old, silver tabby. Through no fault of her own, EMMYLOU was surrendered and has been at Angel Ridge for almost a year. Some cats bounce back from the shock of losing their home & family. But for many others, like EMMYLOU, the loss is devastating. when she arrived, she was fearful of the other cats. She wanted attention but didn't trust the volunteers. She spent a lot of time in the back of her cage. But EMMYLOU has slowly started to participate in the daily routine at the shelter. At meal times, she'll rub-up against the volunteer's legs and she enjoys a few pets. We discovered she loves to play with puff balls and will bring them back & wait for another toss. EMMYLOU was come along way since she first arrive. We believe in a home environment she'll progress even more. EMMYLOU still doesn't like other cats and needs to go to a forever home as an only cat.
