Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Augustus “Gus” – that’s me! I was somebody’s cat once. I know how to rub on your leg, jump on your lap, rub my face in your hand and purr. I can’t remember what happened, but I just showed up in this lady’s yard a few months ago and decided to stay. The lady has been taking care of me ever since – feeding me and making sure I have water and a warm place in the winter and a cool place in the summer. I’d love to go inside her house, and I keep politely asking her, but she dog sits and there are just too many dogs! So, I’m looking for a forever home where I can be inside and get cuddles from my own family – like I used to. I love people. If you come into my yard and sit down, I’m right there on your lap ready to be petted (check out my photo), but I’m polite too and never overstay my lap welcome. I just love human attention – on most days I sit on the mailbox post waiting for the postal carrier for some extra petting 😊. Oh yeah, I talk to people as they go by too. There’s a picture of me talking to the lady taking my picture – check it out.
So, what I’m really looking for that special family that can help me transition into the indoor kitty I used to be. My polite manners say that I was once a family cat and I sure would like to be one again. I’d love a forever family where I can get a lot more love and attention than I do now. I’ll be happy either as an only cat or sharing my family with other friendly cats. I could love one person or a whole family of people - I'm not picky. I'd make a wonderful pet for a retired person. I'll just sit with you and purr. If you think I’d be a great addition to your family, it would be my dream come true to find a home again where I could ‘come in out of the cold’ and be with people who can spend time with me. I’ll be anxiously waiting to hear from you!
P.S. This is truly a cat that needs and deserves a loving family home. So, if you are willing and able to adopt this beautiful and sweet boy please email drtweets2@msn.com or call/text 602-757-9791 and ask for Deb
