Hi, I'm Jimmy. I am an approximately 6 year old, neutered male. When I was rescued from Animal Control, I had heartworm; but I have gone thru heartworm treatment now and am ready to find my forever home. The Rescue says I’m like a guy that just came out of a bad relationship...I take some time to warm up to people I don't know, but once I am comfortable with you and trust you, I love to give kisses. Right now, any sudden movements startle me, so I'm not sure I'm ready for children yet. My favorite toy is my Kong. No crate...just need a room with a view; I love to watch the world go by. Car rides...sometimes I'm a backseat driver, although I am working on getting better. I walk great on a leash (except when a squirrel or rabbit shows up).

I'm not a guy for a first time pup owner. I've been around the block and am pretty smart; someone who has had or is experienced with terriers would be great! I'm a low key kind of guy; I can get wild for five minutes and then I'm good the rest of the day. Also, if you leave ANY food out, I will FIND it, and I will EAT it! Oh, I gained a little weight while I was on bed rest during the heartworm treatment. I am aiming to lose seven pounds (I weigh 42 pounds currently....but more of me to love)! I'm loyal and will alert you of stranger danger or squirrels when we take a walk. So let’s get our life together started!
