Say Hello to Shorty!! Please read the following criteria and submit an application from our website: www.hearts4doxiesrescue.org - those who meet the requirements will be responded to. Only apply if you meet ALL the criteria listed below.

Criteria includes:
- Breed specific knowledge and experience
- Single family residence, home ownership with fully fenced yard
- Another canine companion similar in size, age and energy
- Prefer retired home and/or works from home (not due to COVID)
- Quiet environment, semi-active lifestyle

Shorty is a very sweet and seasoned 10 year young gentleman who is extremely easy-going, happy and loving with a calm personality. He currently weighs 18 lbs. which is almost his ideal weight! He enjoys all kinds of healthy fruit and veggies - in fact, gardening is one of his favorite past times!

Shorty not only loves to be snuggled on a lap but thoroughly enjoys stimulating walks (he's fabulous on leash), plush toys, chasing squirrels and tootling around the yard. He is potty trained, does have some limited vision (which does not deter him in any way) and yes, taking baths -- he is a gem in every way!!!
