My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey y'all, my name's Brooksie! I'm around 2 years old and haven't had an easy go at life so far. I recently found myself homeless, without much to eat and I was just plain ol' lonesome. I wandered into a shop where some burly dudes were working on farm equipment and they called me over. My rumbling tummy just couldn't help but go investigate and sure enough, the kind men broke out their lunch boxes and shared with me. I must have impressed them, because they said I was just way too sweet to be out there on my own. Nothing like bonding over a ham and cheese sammie, am I right? They happened to know some people who could help me, so here I am in rescue, waiting for my big break.

I don't mean to brag, but people say I'm pretty awesome. I love playing with my fellow pup friends and I'm fond of the two leggers as well. I love to play, so I may knock over small kids by accident. If you've got a free hand or two and enjoy giving belly rubs and butt scratches, chances are we're gonna get along just fine. I'm still a teenager and I love being active with my fav peeps. Hikes, runs, romantic walks at sunset, chasing inanimate objects you lob for me in the backyard or whatever your pleasure, I'm all in. And when we're not adventuring, I'd love to just chill on the couch with my BFF and snuggle. I'm also not opposed to snacks. My foster mom says I'm picking up the basics really well and I've got amazing potential to be the bestest, most loyal companion ever. Just read on to learn how to apply, and then ask your adoption counselor to connect us. 2021 is bound to be a better year for us together.

This pup is in CT and waiting to find their forever home!! If you are interested in adopting this pup, please email your adoption coordinator to set up a meet. You can also apply online on our website, but you must be pre-approved before setting up an appointment to adopt.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 12pm-2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
