My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dexter was rescued all the way from Taiwan after the severe flooding put his life in jeopardy. He is a Formosan Mountain Dog mix which is like a small lab. He is still a bit shy in new situations, but does enjoy playing with other dogs and cuddling with his human companions! He is good with dogs and cats and will need to be observed with children to see if they are too much for him to handle.

Dexter is thin at approx 25lbs and will probably not get bigger than 35-40lbs at adult weight. He was born approx January 2009. He is looking for a sensitive family who will continue to train him and provide him with fun activities and lots of love!

ADOPTION INSTRUCTIONS

All of our animal companions are in foster homes, so visits are arranged with the foster family. To set up a time to meet one of our animal companions, we must first have a completed application on file.

Please note that we do not adopt animal companions out to homes that show signs of indoor smoking. Adoption fee $125 Dexter is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
