My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

👉👉👉Looking for a new year’s resolution???? What’s better than saving a life? Fostering one of our dogs in boarding opens up a spot for another to be saved!!!!
🌸🐾🌸 Gorgeous Jamaica 🌸🐾🌸
Jamaica spent the holidays in boarding,😢 but she is hoping someone will open up their home to foster her soon!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Jamaica is a beautiful girl who was surrendered to our rescue early December. (Just in time for Christmas- so heartbreaking for her!!!)
She is skeptical of new people and needs time to warm up. According to the owner, they did not socialize her much outside of the family unit. This has caused Jamaica to have a lack of confidence around new people. She just completed a board and train program to help socialize her and get her more comfortable meeting new people.
🐾 8 year old.
🐾 70 pounds.
🐾 Doberman Rottie Mix.
🐾 Lived with her former family from the age of 6 weeks.
🐾 She lived with two small children In her former home and was said to be great with them, but Jamaica is very fearful of strangers, therefore we are recommending no kids at this time.
🐾 No other pets. She was fine with other dogs in training, but she never lived with another dog before and she prefers to be on her own.
🐾 Walks nicely with her gentle leader collar, which she is wearing in her pictures.
🐾 Spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Jamaica loves a good neck and belly scratch. Her favorite place to rest is at the feet of whereever her humans are. She loves to play tag and will run after you so she can be a part of the game.
She loves savory treats and can be taught almost any trick with the right treat. When ever she does something wrong and you catch her, she instinctively puts herself in time out..its actually really cute.
If you do not have any other pets or kids and you are interested in fostering Jamaica, please submit an application:
