My story

***Adoption Pending*** Hi, I'm Lucky. I'm a 2 and a half year old Maltese(mix?). I love to sit in my foster mom's lap and I get along really well with all the dogs in mom’s pack. When I'm outside I get the Zoomies, I love to run and run, so I really need a fenced in yard. I really don't like my kennel. I'm potty trained, UTD on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.
Foster mom says I'm the sweetest boy, and although I haven’t been kid tested, we don’t think I’ll have any problems.  I love to play and chew on my toys. To apply to adopt visit www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp.  Lucky 's adoption fee is $250.  All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Kansas City, MO and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. We do allow out of state adoptions, however qualified in state applications will be given preference.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process.
