This sweetheart is Molly. She is a recent addition to rescue and had to be released by her owner. He loved her very much and all though giving Molly up was hard he did the right thing in wanting to find Molly a new forever home. Molly is the most unique Basset girl we have ever seen in that her coloring is just stunning. Her brown is the deepest chocolate brown we have ever seen and she is just as sweet as chocolate. Molly is still a young pup around 2 years old and will benefit from a regular routine schedule in her new home. We highly recommend also sticking with her crate training...she is currently being crate trained in and is doing wonderfully with it...she does cry for a short time but after a few minutes settles nicely. Providing her with stimulating activities, such as Kong toys, toys, play time in the back yard will help her immensely. We have also learned Molly is an escape artist...she will dig to get out, climb chain link fences, you name she does it. So we are kindly requesting for Molly's safety that you have a wooden/plastic 6 ft privacy fence that connects firmly with the ground or allow Molly to be on a tie out to go outside unsupervised. She is doing incredibly well on her house training and will just again need a regular routine to follow and help learning the cue words for "potty" in her new home. She is UTD on all vaccinations, HW tested negative and on preventative and altered. If you would like more info on Molly please contact Jessica

Please remember Every animal for adoption through an Hounds Haven is fully vetted for their age and only needs routine preventive care. Dogs older then 6 months of age are heartworm tested! All dogs are kept on heartworm preventative. Every hound is vaccinated (age appropriate), and de-wormed, in addition to being spayed/neutered.
We are asking for interested parties to fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire prior to us lining up an appointment for them to see the hound(s) at the hound(s)' home.
