Hi, we’re Spot and Dot, a pair of GORGEOUS, bonded grey brothers! We were rescued from a shelter as kittens, and then adopted by an awesome family. Unfortunately, our family fell onto extremely hard times; they had to move in with family members who were not able to have kitties in the home, so they made the heartbreaking choice to surrender us back to BTKR.
As you can imagine we have really missed our family, and it's been a tough adjustment. But we are getting used to our new helpers, we've gotten all our shots up to date and our teeth cleaned, and now we're on the market...looking for our purrrfect forever family TOGETHER!
Dot: I'm a big boy and I love people! I'm very vocal, so much so that I earned the nickname "Celine Dion" from one of my helpers after I belted out a very expressive solo. I'm a laid back guy, and I really like to get pets. If I'm in the right mood I'll even roll over and show you my belly! I'm not really into toys but occasionally a wand toy catches my interest.
Spot: I'm smaller than my brother, and I'm the more shy one. I definitely need to stay with Dot because he helps me feel safe, and I follow his lead. I have a small white spot on my back (now you get my name right?) that helps you tell me and my brother apart. I haven't really played very much yet in my time with the rescue, but that may be because I'm still feeling a bit nervous and shy.
We eat both wet and dry food and we're not picky! We also like Churu treats and Temptations treats. We both like cozy, hidey spots for napping, and being up high (we hope you have a cat tree with cubbies)! We are pretty quiet guys and we think we'd do best in a pretty calm and quiet home. Spot especially gets a bit nervous and will benefit from a very calm, predictable environment.
