My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***Adoption Pending*** Haven is a friendly, 6 month old female, our best guess is a German Shepherd/Beagle mix. Haven loves to play outside with her foster siblings and will require another playful dog in the home, as well as a fenced in yard. In true Beagle sense, she is very curious and will occasionally alert you with a howl.
Haven is doing great with house training and she has even rung the bell to be let outside. Haven sleeps in her crate at night and is generally pretty quiet until morning. Haven is loves all dogs and people she has met. She will require someone willing to work with an active breeder and continue to teach her manners. She is UTD on vacc., microchipped, and kept on monthly flea/tick/hw prevention. To apply to adopt visit www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp. Haven's adoption fee is $250.  All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in WIchita, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. We do allow out of state adoptions, however qualified in state applications will be given preference.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process.
