Hi, my name is Jack and I live with my brother Rocky, a Jack Russel Terrier and Italian Greyhound mix. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE A BONDED PAIR :) If that is ok with you, please keep reading :)
I came to be with my current foster/owner because I was rescued thru DogZone Rescue, and was fostered by my current foster Dad. I thought I found my forever home with a wonderful family but a year later I was returned to my foster Dad along with my adopted brother Rocky. My original owners had some medical conditions, so I was given back to my original foster Dad along Rocky (my brother from another mother) so we could stay together. For the last 2 years,
I have been with Rocky and my original foster Dad and we have lived a pretty good life living in San Jose, Lake Tahoe and now in San Francisco. Well my foster parents can no longer keep both Jack and I as they live in a house that only allows so many pets and my foster Dad’s wife has a couple of dogs too that need special attention. I am really excited about finding a home with my brother so that we can get all the attention. I love attention and so does my brother. I love giving kisses. I love to run on the beach. I pretty much love everything and I know that once I trust you, I will love you forever.
PERSONALITY & NEEDS
I have been in my current home with my foster/owner/Dad for over 2 years now, so I am toilet-trained. I am leash-trained with my brother on a double leash, but I still pull (so does my brother) and need some work with that.
I need someone who can take me for walks and will let me be on their lap when they watch TV and even sleep with you in bed if you want. I love to sleep under the covers just like my brother Rocky. I am extremely affectionate, loyal and lovable and pretty much love everyone but I can be timid on occasion. I love to hug, and to have my belly and chin scratched. I am in a home with no children right now, but I would be great with most children who understand me. I do require you to pick me up a certain way. I would do better with older children.
HEALTH
I am really healthy and have had all my shots and have been neutered.
EATING
I love food. Most all food! If you eat it, I most likely will eat it. Right now I get mostly grain free dry food and some really good wet food mixed in in the mornings sometimes. I also get treats during the day. I absolutely love most treats out
there.
