Hi, my name is Rocky and I live with my brother Jack, a Jack Russel Terrier/Chihuahua mix. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE A BONDED PAIR :) If that is ok with you, please keep reading :) Please note that he would not be good in a home with small children- older children could be ok)
I came to be with my current foster/owner because when I was rescued by my previous owner, they had another dog named Jack and adopted me to be his brother and best friend. Jack and I really are best friends. We can play and chase each other for hours.
My original owners had some medical conditions that happened all of a sudden and so I was given to Jack’s original foster Dad along with Jack (my brother from another mother) so we could stay together.
For the last 2 years, I have been with Jack and his original foster Dad and we have lived a pretty good life living in San Jose, Lake Tahoe and now in San Francisco. But my foster parents can no longer keep both Jack and I as they live in a house that only allows so many pets and my foster Dad’s wife has a couple of dogs too that need special attention.
I am really excited about finding a home with my brother so that we can get all the attention and stay together. I love attention and so does my brother. I love giving kisses. I love to run on the beach. I pretty much love everything and everybody and I know that I have not met you yet, but I think I love you already. That is just who I am.
PERSONALITY & NEEDS
I have been in my current home with my foster/owner/Dad for over 2 years now, so I am mostly toilet-trained. I am leash-trained with my brother on a double leash, but I still pull (so does my brother) and need some work with that.
I need someone who can take me for walks and will let me be on their lap when they watch TV and even sleep with you in bed if you want. I love to sleep under the covers just like my brother Jack. I am extremely affectionate, loyal and lovable and pretty much love everyone. I love to hug, and to have my belly and chin scratched. I am in a home with no children right now. I like children but my brother can nip if you pick him up the wrong way, so it's better we aren't in a home with small children. My weakness is I do love leather shoes, but who doesn’t :)
HEALTH
I am really healthy and have had all my shots and am neutered.
EATING
I love food. Most all food! If you eat it, I most likely will eat it. Right now I get mostly grain free dry food and some really good wet food mixed in in the mornings sometimes. I also get treats during the day. I absolutely love most treats out
there.
