Carys is a sweet and affectionate calico with a uniquely light-blond/calico coat. She happily greets me at the door when I walk in, circling my ankles and purring happily, waiting for me to take off my
shoes so I can give her the petting and attention she loves. It’s her unique way of saying I’ve
been missed. In the month since I became her foster mom, she has rapidly blossomed – both
gaining the weight she needed and quickly warming up to me and her new Santa Monica digs.
Carys spends much of her day following me around, happily taking a nap on the nearest couch
or batting around one of her bevy of toys in the same room whenever possible. She gets along
with other cats and quickly warms up to visitors, so she’s likely good with kids. While shy at
first, she quickly warmed up and showed her affectionate, outgoing personality. She will be a
sweet, loving addition to your home.
Carys lost her original home when her owner was hospitalized and had to go to a long term care facility, where she was not able to have a pet.
