Nori is a 5-year-old, female Malamute/Siberian Husky mix who came to NorSled after her owner lost her home in last year's fires.
If you're looking for a girl who always looks happy and loves her humans, Nori is a good choice. However, although she lives with a 9-year-old Siberian Husky and a 12-year-old Chihuahua, it did take some work for her to accept them as part of her pack, so being an only child might be a wiser choice. That being said, Nori's leash skills have improved greatly and she rarely reacts to other dogs she sees while out on her walk.
Nori isn't a barker, jumper, climber, digger or eater of shoes or remote controls, doesn't sing with sirens, is house trained and knows how to use a doggie door. She does like to eat, so leaving a food bowl out doesn't work well for her, but she LOVES treats and learns quickly when she knows she'll get one. Nori doesn't much like the vacuum or Roomba, loud noises or fireworks, so shouldn't be left alone over the 4th or New Years eve.
Like all NorSled dogs, she's on heartworm prevention, microchipped, current on her shots and is just looking for her own forever home.
