Specifics:

~2 year old Canaan/Malinois boy from Saudi Arabia
~Healthy with medium-high energy, around 45 lbs, neutered, vaccinated and UTD with parasite prevention
~House trained, crate trained and non-destructive
~Walks well on leash with good recall
~A little shy upon first meetings with new people, but warms up quickly
~Walks and runs with a sideways gait due to a previous injury in Saudi Arabia, but isn't negatively affected by it at present
Favourite things:
~Biskit enjoys playtime with humans and certain dogs once he gets to know them, as well as adventurous walks and tons of treats
~Biskit loves to eat and thoroughly enjoys a dreamy nap after a yummy meal
~Listening to classical music is one of Biskit's favourite hobbies
~Biskit delights in receiving lots of praise (and often treats) for mastering new tasks
~Since being handsome is important to Biskit, he's quite fond of being brushed and receiving compliments
~Squirrel problem? Not anymore says Biskit! He'll alert you immediately to a squirrel or other critter coming to dine and dash from the bird feeder!
Dreamhome Wishlist:
~ A home in a rural or suburban setting which isn't too noisy or busy.
~ A home with a fully fenced yard.
~ A family without young children (older teens okay).
~ A family who's work schedule would ensure that Biskit isn't left unattended for more than 3-4 hours per day. A reputable dog walker could also be an option if work hours are long.
~ A home with or without another balanced dog to play with and to keep him company while the humans are out.
~ A family willing to ensure that Biskit would get at least 3 good walks per day and plenty of physical and mental stimulation.
~ Someone with previous dog experience, dedicated to continuing Biskit's education and providing consistent rules and boundaries, utilizing force-free methods.
~ Ideally, a family willing to feed either a Raw Diet or provide a kibble such as Acana, which has less fillers and uses natural preservatives, and add veggies to Biskit's diet (i.e. Doggytime Smoothie - recipe will be shared with adopter).
~A family aware that Biskit has had an injury in the past which contributes to his odd gait, and that this injury could potentially cause arthritis or other concerns as the dog ages, which would need to be
addressed with the help of a veterinarian.
