Hi I'm Anna! I originally came to the rescue just a day away from a bad fate - I'd ended up at a rural county shelter...no longer wanted by my previous owner...a bully breed, pregnant and an owner surrender - that is not a recipe for success in getting out of a shelter. But, thankfully this rescue heard about me and had a foster home available for getting a sweet girl like myself safe and sound.
While in rescue I gave birth to 9 gorgeous puppies (they get it from me) and I was a good mommie. All of my puppies have been adopted and now its my turn to find my happily ever after.
I'm a gorgeous girl but I enjoy being active and would like an owner who is regimented and enjoys being active too. Im still working on my leash walking and I get overly excited when I see another dog so I could use some positive reinforcement training and a confident handler owner to help teach me this.
A fenced yard would be great - of course dogs need to burn off energy going on walks but while getting my training situated, a fenced yard would be great for me to run and play. Don't get me wrong as much as I love to be active what i really love more is to snuggle with my person.
I'm a great medium sized pup to have by your side and will loyally love you forever. I like some dogs but there are some that I am unsure about so I would need to be properly introduced. With love, patience, and a consistent owner, I'm going to be a great addition to your family!
