My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brews his own craft beer. Listens to vinyl. Took improv at UCB. Hosts open mic poetry slam 'sesh"es at the local Ebz.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Intake Date: 13 Dec 2020 ----- Date of Birth: July 22, 2018 ----- Breed: Belgian Tervuren Shephard / West German Shepherd ----- Size: 75 lbs ----- Status: owner surrender ----- Compatible with: Children, dogs. NO CATS ----- Suitable for: home with a securely fenced yard. Non negotiable----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: Rehab case.
Little interaction and socializing outside of the home. Fearful of new people, growly, standoffish. ----- Additional Notes: Bubba is a beauty. He is NOT good with cats but seems great with everyone else so far. Due to his size and not knowing how much exposure to small dogs, would recommend him for a home with medium dogs or larger. His was purchased by a younger kid and he bred her and kept a puppy back. Unfortunately, Bubba missed out on proper socializing and training. And then decided that he wanted to go live the less tied down life and Bubba needed placement. His mother reached out to us for assistance thankfully! He is a work in progress so an adopter MUST be aware of that and able to continue working with him! He is NOT OK with cats, so he cannot go to a home with cats. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is mandatory.
