Hi my name is Baby, but my friends here at MVPC call my Granny. I am not sure why I ended up at the shelter, but let me tell you, it was hard on these old bones. Shelters are no place for any dog, let alone an old gal like me. I have two speeds...nothing and slow. I want to nap and eat. That’s pretty much it. Can you tell taking my picture isn’t a favorite of mine? Food is though. Love food. I am good with other animals, but I am over playing and shenanigans. Cats, dogs, whatever...they are all fine. I just want to lie down and chew on my bones until dinner. I am not a fan of having my nails cut, but other than that, I am not too grumpy. If you just want to exist through life, and eat, I am your girl. Don’t leave food near me though...all’s fair if you walk away. The shelter isn’t too sure what my breed is, so lab was the guess. I was a pretty girl in my hay day, now I am aged and classy.
ADOPTION FEE: $200 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained)
A $100 hold fee is required for approved applications and will be applied to the full adoption fee at the time of the home visit.

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
