If you’re one of those people who look for the one eyed, missing a leg kind of dog, then you need to meet our Guy. Before his previous owner passed away, Guy lost his right eye and most of his tail and has adapted like a champ. Because he’s a Chinese Crested/Maltese Mix he’s pretty much hairless except for the hair on his feet and his head. In the winter Guy enjoys the comfort of a seater or a jacket to keep all 7 lbs. of him warm and a little t-shirt keeps his hairless body shaded from the Arizona sun in the summer.

This gentle boy has been bunking with our resident chihuahua Ruby and enjoys hanging out in our play yard with dogs of all sizes. Guy would gladly join you on a walk or to just hang out on your lap while you watch tv or read.

Since arriving at our shelter, he is using the dog door and that is helping immensely with his housetraining. With a little more help and patience from an adopter in a home he’ll be 100%. We know that the perfect home for Guy is out there.
