Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet JoJo! JoJo is a 2-year-old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix dog who is currently located in Philadelphia, PA. JoJo is up to date on vaccines but AmsterDog Rescue is working on getting her spayed ASAP. JoJo was originally a shelter dog dog that we saved from death row at ACCT Philly shelter back in July 2020. JoJo was adopted by a single male adult living with a male roommate in Philadelphia, PA. Unfortunately, JoJo’s adopter hit rough times during the COVID-19 pandemic and can no longer financially afford to take care of JoJo and made the difficult decision of surrendering this sweet girl to AmsterDog Rescue. We are looking for a foster or adopter that can give JoJo another chance of living a happy life that she deserves!
During JoJo’s 2 years of being in this world, she has only known instability and people who gave up on her. JoJo was originally dumped at ACCT Philly Shelter by her original owners. Now her adopter needs to rehome JoJo too at no fault of her own. JoJo is extremely shy and has a bit of “stranger danger” when meeting new people. Completely expected when she loves and trusted people who easily gave up on her! JoJo is now looking for a new stable home that can provide her a calm environment where she can regain her confidence as a dog again! JoJo needs to be the only dog in her new home and no young children since she’s a scared/shy dog who will need her own space and time to adjust to her new home. AmsterDog Rescue will provide free training sessions to the adopter who takes in JoJo to ensure a successful adoption and transition into her new home.
JoJo is house trained and knows her basic commands such as sit and paw. She was reported to have lived with cats and 4 children (ages 4,8,10, and 12) in her previous home. Please contact AmsterDog Rescue today at info@amsterdog.org or (917) 689-8414 if you’re interested in fostering or adopting JoJo!
