My name is Autumn – my foster mom says that my coloring is pretty like the autumn leaves! I’m only 1 year old but have already seen a lot in my life. I grew up living on the streets with a lot of other cats. Sometimes people would give us food but sometimes they were mean to us. I had 2 kittens and it was hard for me to get enough for us to eat but then a nice person brought us in from the cold, got us medical attention and made sure that we had plenty to eat. At first I missed going outdoors but now I really appreciate having a safe, warm, dry place to sleep!
My foster mom took me to the vet and he said that my early life on the streets was hard on me. When I left the street life I had a really bad upper respiratory infection – it’s gone now but sometimes I have a bit of a runny nose and watery eyes. I can see well but my left eye looks a little different.
My kittens have found their own forever home so now it’s my turn. I get along well with other cats and would like to have a playmate. I don’t know any dogs but, as long as they’re respectful, I’m sure that I can be their friend. I love to watch birds out the window and carry my favorite toys around in my mouth.
