My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carina (Italian for "cute") is a young girl almost 2 years old, born 7/25/04. She is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, and litterbox trained. Gets along fine with most cats and dogs, but would do best with children age 6 and up as she doesn't like to be pulled on or poked by smaller children. The ideal home for her would have no more than one other cat in the house. She is very friendly and active. She drinks like a lady by dipping her paw in the water and licking it off. She loves bell toys, especially those at the end of a string. She will come running at the sound of a bell toy. Carina is very soft to the touch, almost like a rabbit. Her eyes change color sometimes from yellow to green.

Carina MUST be kept in-doors AT ALL TIMES.... or allowed outside supervised WITH a leash and harness on (also could have a cat-proof fenced yard). Adoption includes an application, house-visit, contract, and adoption fee. By signing our contract, adoptees agree to return their kitties to GHP if for any reason they can't be kept any longer. We will only be able to adopt this pair out to people within a 50 mile radius of Colorado Springs due to transportation restrictions unless I can find someone to do out-of-town adoptions (this is pending). NOTE: If you are interested in becoming a volunteer to do home visits in the Denver area please let me know ASAP! Carina would love to have a forever home.
