Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome Sully to Battle for the Bully! Sully is a year old and comes to us already vetted and ready for adoption. His foster mom writes the below:
"Sully is the happiest, goofiest, most handsome Pitbull-Boxer mix who is looking for a home as loving as he is. He loves to cuddle (all 65 lbs of him) and be near his people. He is most fond of his “breakfast” (his three meals each day) and his daily walks. He plays very well with other dogs at doggy day care, which he attends 3-4x a week.
Sully loves to sleep with his humans on the bed, but is also kennel trained and will sleep in his kennel. He is fully house-trained. He knows many words (sit, lay, come, wait, car ride, walk, outside, shake, breakfast, toy, cookie, treat, etc.). The one word that he has not mastered yet is “drop.” He can be stubborn, and will occasionally not give up a food item if he finds it on a walk. Sully isn’t scared of much…except the vacuum. He hasn’t quite figured out what this very loud, object is that mom and dad push around the living room.
Sully will live best in a home where can spend a lot of time with his people. He would most enjoy a home where he has a fenced in yard to play, and where he is regularly attended to. He would also like an active family that likes to go on walks or hikes. He still has puppy tendencies and is still learning to not pull too hard on the leash. Keeping him busy and stimulated is important.
If you are looking for a sweet, happy guy with the biggest heart, look no further - Sully is your main man. He’ll be loyal ‘til the end and deserves the same in return"
Please understand we match our dogs based on temperament/needs, not physical appearance. If you are unable to accommodate the needs of Sully, please do not apply. We would like his transition to be as seamless as possible.
Please review our website and review our FAQ's before applying. Sully will not be placed in a home with kids under the age of 13 years due to his playful nipping, no exceptions. Link to website below:
