Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ava is a beautiful, sweet, playful, and gentle two-year-old brown tabby cat with golden/green eyes looking for a loving guardian.
Ava came to Friends of Petraits Rescue when she was pregnant, stray, covered with fleas and full of worms. She gave birth to four amazingly healthy kittens who have since found fantastic homes. She even lovingly accepted and nursed a bonus kitten whose mom couldn’t care for him.
This girl has finally learned to appreciate some me time. She plays, snuggles and loves to be brushed. She is living in a foster home where she tolerates two small dogs and another cat.
We think she’d be just fine as the only pet or with one gentle-natured feline. And, probably best with gentle teens and adults who don’t mind waiting for her personality to unfold.
She is now extremely healthy, spayed, de-wormed, de-flead, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, virus-tested negative and micro-chipped.
To meet and possibly adopt this beautiful girl, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-cat-adoption-application/
After the application is complete, please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to schedule an appointment to meet her.
Her adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue.
She is currently being fostered in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood.
