Meet Jerry, he is a sweet and gentle hound mix looking for his forever home!  His foster mom describes him as shy and timid but once he is comfortable, his affectionate and goofy personality will shine. Jerry is an energetic pup that loves to play. When Jerry is scared he can sometimes  get defensive,  but he loves to play with his brother and  fellow fosters and  gets along well with most dogs after a slow and proper introduction. Jerry is house trained and crate trained, as long as he is taken out regularly. Jerry's foster mom is working on leash training, he has never had someone walk him before and is excited to learn. With some basic training, Jerry could be a wonderful walking buddy and companion.

Jerry would do best in a quieter home with someone who can provide the extra love and patience he needs to get used to new situations, perhaps a doggy pal would help with his confidence. As a purely foster based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file.  Please fill in our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow at least 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Jerry's Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. *Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.*
