My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Cassiopeia but my friends call me Cassie!

I was found as a stray and transferred to rescue to help me find my new home! In November 2022 I will have been in rescue care for 2 yrs! I would really love to find my forever family, is it you?

My foster mom says 'Cassie is honestly the perfect snake. I love her so much. Whenever I bring her out, I can comfortably take her out with my hands. Her favorite place is to hang in between the couch covers.' She would adopt me if she didn't already have a few others. She's been great to take care of me for so long for sure!

Fun Facts about me! I am currently 48 inches long and my girth is 7.5 inches! I'm also a sweetheart and I love soaking in my water. I love being held and checking out new things! Being nocturnal, I spend most of the day sleeping in my hide but I do like to come out in the evening to socialize.

Though there is no way to really tell what age I am, based on my size I am considered an adult. My species can live a long and healthy life of up to 30 to 40 years. Bringing me into your family is a lifelong commitment, for both of us!

Adult female ball pythons will average 3 to 5 feet long, and adult male ball pythons average 2 to 3 feet in size. As a full adult, I can weigh between 3 and 5 lbs.

I will require my own habitat that is secure with the right diet, habitat, substrate, temperature, and humidity. Don’t worry, the rescue will provide you with all the information that you will need to prepare for my arrival.
