Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Buster! Buster is a fun, energetic 3-year old brittany that loves to be outdoors but is also very content in his crate as well (where he sleeps every night with no issues). He is very loyal, makes great eye contact. His favorite treats are pig ears or raw hides and he prefers to play with squeeky stuffed ducks, rabbits, or squirrel toys (pet safe) over balls.
He is a family dog and has not been trained for hunting. He is great with children and other pets, including cats and other male dogs (no marking issues at all). He likes walking, jogging, swimming and and riding in car. In early 2009 he was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy and takes liquid drops of potassium bromide (250mg/mL) on his food 2X/day (a 3-month supply is just $22). He has been seizure free since on medication (for about six months). He needs a secure fenced back yard, (we currently have a 5' stockade fenced yard with invisible fence). In the front yard, invisible fence only works for people and other dogs but he is not left unattended in front due to rabbits and deer. If you are interested in adopting or meeting Buster please fill out our online adoption application at www.americanbrittanyrescue.org!
History: Buster's owners for the first 2.5 years of his life had to give him up because they were moving out of state and downsizing to a condo without a yard. Both adults worked and they had a six month old baby. His current owners are giving him up because the owner's wife finds him to be a bit more active than was expected (and relative to 12 year old Cairn Terrier) and because their son has developed allergies to him. Buster is AKC registered and his owners will pass on that paperwork to his new forever home. Buster was neutered July 09 by current owner. He is up to date with shots, house broken, crate trained and microchipped.
