HELP! Cody 12mths old Boxer/mix in need of foster/furever home!

Cody is a one year old small to medium black Lab/Boxer mix. He was found on the side of a highway in Wilmington, NC. He was near death, starving, flea infested and very, very scared. He is still shy when first meeting new people but quickly warms up. He does do better with women and children than men. Cody loves being part of a family. He will follow you from room to room and lay at your feet. He is great with children of all ages and loves playing with other dogs and cats. Cody loves to run and boy is he fast. He tries very hard to be good and wants to please. He is looking for a home with lots of love and willingness to work with his shyness and uncertainty of men. He is housetrained, up to date on shots, heartworm free, wormed, neutered and is the sweetest dog ever! He loves getting attention and all the loving that you can give him. We only have a week to find him a foster/furever home.
