My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yuki is a 1-year old, relaxed and sweet girl. She showers us with kisses when we arrive home and is an overall very affectionate dog to "her people”. She also LOVES to play and to have her belly scratched. She is aloof with strangers and needs time with you to get acquainted and be your friend.

Despite being calm and relaxed around the house, she does have puppy energy when she's outside and loves to sprint around the yard. She would love to be in an active family where she can play off leash (in a large fenced in yard). She was not leash trained when we got her but has quickly made great strides, is very responsive to treats and has learned basic commands very quickly.

She seems to be playful with other dogs, but can be dominant in her play. She is best suited for a home without small children or cats.

Yuki was adopted from the Humane Society after being found as a stray in a local park. We have fallen in love with her since arriving in our home, but unfortunately she is not compatible with our cats.

Yuki’s family have asked that any interested adopters first complete an adoption application.
